• Account information: name, email/phone (if you sign in), profile photo (optional).
• User content: photos you upload for contests, captions, and related content.
• App activity: votes you cast, contest participation, basic usage events.
• Device & technical data: device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs.
• Advertising data: ad impressions/clicks and limited identifiers used by ad networks.

2) How We Use Information

• To create and manage your account and provide core app features.
• To operate contests, show leaderboards, and prevent fraud/abuse.
• To improve app performance, fix bugs, and enhance user experience.
• To show ads and measure ad performance (when ads are enabled).
• To respond to your support requests and communicate important updates.

3) Photos & Visibility

Photos you upload are shown within contests and related public areas of the app (for example: contest feed, leaderboards, and profile views) based on your usage.

Please upload only content you own or have permission to use. You remain responsible for the content you upload.

4) Sharing of Information

We may share information:

• With service providers that help run the app (hosting, analytics, crash reporting).
• With advertising partners (to serve and measure ads).
• For legal reasons if required by law or to protect users and prevent abuse.

5) Third-Party Services We Use

VoteSnap uses trusted third-party services, which may collect information under their own policies:

• Firebase (Google) – Authentication, database, storage, notifications.
• Google AdMob – Advertising and ad measurement.
• Google Play Services – App distribution, integrity and security-related services.

6) Advertising

If ads are enabled, AdMob may use device identifiers and related signals to show and measure ads. Where required, we will request consent for personalized ads.

You can also control ad personalization through your Google settings.

7) Data Security

We use reasonable security measures and secure Firebase infrastructure to help protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

9) Children’s Privacy

VoteSnap is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

10) Your Rights & Choices

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information (where applicable).
• You may remove content you uploaded (subject to contest rules and system constraints).
• You can opt out of certain communications by adjusting your notification settings.
